Friendship Tea Bags
Each Friendship Tea Bags is unique, refashioned from the wonderful handwork of women long ago.
What a sweet little gift! They arrive with a Twinnings or Bigelow Teabag inside. If you like you can make the
gift more special - tuck in a thimble for your sewing friend or maybe a piece of jewelry.
Or...Ask me to put a closure at the top - it makes a cute change purse.
Friendship Tea Bags made from Vintage fabric are $3.50 each.
...
Lucy, I'm Home!
These were made from some fun 50's fabric. What you see is all I have. Yes, this is old fabric, only the buttons
and the ribbon are new.

From a Bureau Scarf
There is a Snug-Up Cozy to match these Friendship Tea Bags. My friend Sharen found a bureau scarf at an Estate sale. I would place this somewhere in the
70's because the color is so sharp. Nevertheless, the handwork is excellent. I believe the scarf was never used. I have only four of these
FTB's.

From a Cross Stitch Bureau Scarf
Aren't these sweet! The runner was in excellent condition. No staining. No fray in the edging. From the coloring I'd guess these
the runner was about 50 years old.
The fabric was a pleasure to sew. The two Friendship Tea Bags on the left in the first picture are from the center. They have
no handwork at all. The FTB's on the right in the second picture have the curves from the ends. All of them have those cute
tea pot buttons. Oh my these are wonderful!
Small Embroidered Linens
The Friendship Tea Bags are made from a small embroidered piece. Because of it's poor condition
I was only able to get three FTB's. I have only ONE left of the trio.

Bureau Scarf
This group is not what I consider vintage, I remember having a bureau scarf similar to these! My best guess is that they
are from the '50's. These Friendship Teabags are made from the center part of the scarf. I have sold all of the others made
from the scalloped edge. I only have the four you see.

Tea Table Topper
Oh these are fun! These are from a tulle topper on which someone had stitched a design flowers and
flourishes. I thought backing them with white fabric and giving them special golden embellishments made them very girlie indeed.
I started with 12 but have 4 left. Enjoy!

Plisse fabric given to me:
Women who sew NEVER throw out fabric! This lovely plisse (smelling like her attic) was given to me by a woman who was downsizing.
I have about a yard of it.

Single hankie with crochet edge:
This is a very sweet hankie. As you can see, the pink flower is a little faded with time, but Oh! the stories this hankie
could tell. I made two FTB's from one hankie. As of today, only one is left.
