Back-Country Quilts. Multi-colored, full of life, back country quilts. That's what I like! Old fashioned utility blankets made with simple patterns, made to be used until they are threadbare - not hung on a wall. Most of the quilts shown in the photos are made from "new fabric" - however I do come across a stash of "old fabric" every now and then. I enjoy hand quilting. It's soul satisfying for me. So what I do is machine stitch the design together and hand stitch the batting to the back and detail the design. I always have a quilt in progress - some large and some small. Almost all of these quilts are sold. HOWEVER, you may see a design you'd like. Send me an email with your phone number and I'll give you a call and chat about your new quilt.
